Newsletters will be sent out every fortnight, keep an eye out on our school app. You can access the school app by heading to your phones App store and downloading Kiwi Schools – Search Waatea School. It makes sending through absences, viewing newsletters or any other pānui so much easier.

This newsletter is specific to Term Two, so please make sure you take the time to read through it as there is some important kaupapa on top.

We look forward to seeing the tamariki on Monday 2nd May.

Auckland Museum EOTC Trip

Friday 6th May 10am-2.30pm

Please make sure you send back to school with your child the permission slip. These will be sent home on Monday 2nd May.

Term Two Uniform

It is getting colder in the mornings, please make sure your tamaiti/ngā tamariki are coming to school with either their black hooded shell jacket, or a polar fleece school jumper. We have accumulated a lot of lost property over the year and will be distributing these clothing items out.

School Calendar

Please make sure you are keeping an eye out for important dates across the term. The school calendar can be accessed via the ‘Calendar’ part of the website.

Seesaw

This year we are connecting our whanau ‘live’ to your childs’ learning! In order to do this so that you can see what is happening in your childs’ class, you will need an email address. An invite will be sent to you, and you willl be able to view, and respond to your child’s mahi that they complete in class. An information pack will be sent out in the coming weeks.
